Skyline HS LRCII teacher
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and spent some time outside enjoying the sunshine. I was thankful to get 3 yards of topsoil and work out in our yard all day with my family! Garden pictures to come (eventually).
On to this week--weekly assignments are posted under "online resources". A few new slides this week (both located at the END of the presentation)--"Just for Fun" and "Daily Check-out". The "Just for Fun" are activities that your student may enjoy and most can be done independently; this is NOT REQUIRED. The "Daily Check-out" IS REQUIRED. Please have students complete it EVERY DAY. This will give me an idea of what your student did for the day and if I can help in any way. If your student is having trouble accessing Websites or learning platforms, PLEASE let me know so we can work together. I can "show" you/your student how to access sites by having a meeting in Microsoft teams and sharing my screen. Also, please be sure to check on TEACHER WEBSITES for assignments. Every teacher should be updating the Website for his/her class at least weekly. Here is the link to Ms. McIlwain's Website https://mcilwainc.weebly.com/ And lastly, a survey for parents/families will be going out on WEDNESDAY, 5/13/20. The survey will have questions about priorities for YOUR student and family until the end of the school year, specifically to create personalized Continuous Learning Plans (CLPs). Please look out for this e-mail with survey and complete as soon as possible. Until next time, stay safe and take care! Mrs. H :)
