It is graduation week! :) Graduation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 6pm on YouTube. I encourage everyone to watch the virtual graduation to support our Seniors. We have a total of 8 Seniors this year--4 from Mrs. Hummell's class and 4 from Mrs. Mackonya's class.
Graduating Seniors (Mrs. Hummell's class) Michael Popa Rose Pitney Utkarsh Pathak Chris Jeong I want to extend a VERY large CONGRATULATIONS to all our Seniors. I am so very proud of each of you!!! I know this year has been tough, but I also know that each of you are strong and will move on to do doing AMAZING things at the ACT program and in life. THANK YOU for being my students and teaching me how to best teach all of you!!! Mrs. H :) We have a NEW learning platform for Math called "Happy Numbers". This was originally in addition to ixl Math, but since there have been some technical difficulties, Happy Numbers is now taking place for independent work time for the remainder of the school year.
I am sending the link and passwords to each student/family. Please look for the e-mail! It is VERY easy to navigate. Your student will do a type of assessment as soon as he/she logs in, then it will provide activities to work on the skills that your student specifically needs. NOTE: I set the "grade" to "Grade 1" for the class (it will not let me choose multiple grade levels). This MAY make questions either simple or difficult for your student. I believe it will adapt to your student's current level as he/she completes the initial assessment. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have additional questions/concerns. Enjoy Math learning!! :) Mrs. H |
